Creamed
carrots with blue cheese and foié
Ingredients for 3 people:
3 carrots
1 potato
A piece of leek (more or less 10cm)
Half onion
A piece of blue cheese
Foié
Saffron
Honey
1.
Slice the piece of leek and the half
onion and put it into a frying pan with oil for 15 minutes.
2.
Add the carrots and the potato sliced
too and fry for 15 minutes more. Stir it all the time.
3.
Put all into a pot and drop water
till it covers all the vegetables. Boil it during 20-25 minutes and cover it.
4.
Add a piece of blue cheese into the
pot.
5.
Grind it with a liquidiser.
6.
Warm it up for 5 minutes.
7.
Cut a piece of blue cheese and a
piece of foie and put it in the middle of the plate you are going to use.
Sprinkle some drops of honey, depends on your taste. (As in the first photo)
8.
Add the cream to you plate and eat it
all mixed.
